Work restraint is a term used to describe a system designed to allow the user to work close to an area in which a fall could occur but prevent the fall from occuring. 

A work restraint system should be used in areas where there is a fall hazard and no protection is in place. Care should be taken when setting up the system to insure that a safe working area is created.

A basic work restraint system may include:

• Harness - SR Profi or Observer full body padded harrness
  
• Work position belt - SR Pole or Pole Plus
• Adjustable Lanyard - SR Track or SR Site or HT Piranah
• Lanyard - SR Lanyard "I" or SR Reactor"I"/"Y"
